Wish List

UPDATED 2009.11.16

My mom asked me what I want for Christmas…I figure an online wishlist is the best way to handle this.  If you’ve bought something and wish me to remove said item from the list, you may leave a comment (annonymously, if you like) and I will update this list, lest I end up with three One Rings…that’d be a bit difficult to explain, wouldn’t it?

I will categorize by price for your shopping convenience, with links to those hard-to-find items.  Items are in random order and in no way indicate my preferences.

SIZES:

  • SHIRTS:
I prefer ladies’ shirts over generic mens’ shirts.
If you buy a ladies’ shirt, I prefer a Medium unless it’s a very small cut, and then I’ll take a Large.
If you buy a generic mens’ shirt, I prefer a Small or Medium.
I am in need of long sleeve shirts, but short sleeve is great, too.
  • HATS:
I think my hat size is 7 1/8.
That usually translates to a Medium.
  • PANTS/SKIRTS:
I’ve lost weight this year.  I look great in an 8.  Go me!
  • SHOES:
My Jedi boots and glass slippers should all be 8 1/2.
That usually translates as a Medium for slippers, etc.

UNDER $20:

$20 ~ $50:

  1. T-shirt: “Walk the Sky”
    It’s a pun on “Skywalker”

$50 ~ $100:

  1. LEGO: X-wing
The most affordable the the LEGO sets that interest me.)
  2. HOUSEWARES: R2D2 Trash Can
(I’m offended that it doesn’t have some motion-sensing lift on the lid, as any droid trash can should, but it’s still beautiful…)

$100 ~$200:

$200 ~ $500:

  1. LEGO: “Star Destroyer”
I do not want the cheapo $99.99 version they made - it’s a disgrace.  It has things like a Vader meditation chamber, but everyone knows his meditation chamber was onboard the Super Star Destroyer Executor, not aboard some random VSD.  This one is $300, and I may never have it, but as a Star Wars geek, it’s necessary to put this here.

It’s great - now I have a list of everything I want, and I can develop a systematic acquisition plan…

And yet, it’s terrible, cause it’s gotten me thinking about all the things I want, and where to get them, and it makes me want to do some online shopping…
