I’ll try to break up the Star Wars quotes, too, as well as I can. This page has a long way to go, but I just want to get it up and running. If you have suggestions for quotes, just leave them in the comments and I’ll organize them into the page.
Everybody…repeatedly…
“I’ve got a bad feeling about this.”
“It’s not my fault!”
Luke Skywalker
Need to collect some quotes here…
“I’m ready for anything.”
- Luke Skywalker, SW:ANH
“If there’s a bright center to the universe, you’re on the planet that its farthest from.”
- Luke Skywalker on his home planet of Tatooine, SW:ANH
(Response to question: “Where are you going?)
“It looks like I’m going nowhere.”
- Luke Skywalker, SW:ANH
Mara Jade (Skywalker)Â
Mara’s my personal hero and role model - she’s just so awesome. Bitter, sarcastic, witty, beautiful, and talented…what more could you want in a woman? To Timothy Zahn, the excellent author who created this character, many thanks for all the hours of great reading.
“I always like it when I get to accomplish three things at once. It makes life so much more efficient.”
- Mara Jade Skywalker, “Survivor’s Quest” p. 414
“She might have been little accustomed to smiling, but she had a triumphant smirk down perfectly and I got to study it enough to be able to etch it in stone from memory.”
- Corran Horn’s thoughts on Mara Jade, “I, Jedi” p. 205
“No, it sounds too crazy even for us.”
- Mara Jade Skywalker, “Survivor’s Quest” p. 361
(response to crazy idea)
“Sure, why not? I didn’t have anything else planned after lunch.”
- Mara Jade Skywalker, “Survivor’s Quest” p. 361
(expressing astonishment)
“I’ll be a roasted nerf.”
- Mara Jade Skywalker, “Survivor’s Quest” p. 405
“So, you want to get off me, or were you just getting comfortable?”
- Mara Jade to Luke Skywalker, “Spector of the Past”
Obi-wan (Ben) Kenobi
Because I love him dearly. I was always an Obi-wan fan, but then in the prequels they made him hot and witty and now he’s just irresistible.
(During a crash landing) “Not to worry. We are still flying half a ship.”
- Obi-wan Kenobi, SW:ROTS
(On surviving a crash landing) “Another happy landing.”
- Obi-wan Kenobi, SW:ROTS
“Why do I sense we’ve picked up another pathetic lifeform?”
- Obi-wan Kenobi, SW:TPM
“Mos Eisley Spaceport. You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villianry. We must be cautious.”
- Obi-wan Kenobi, SW:ANH
Talon Karrde
I’ve been something of a Karrde fan lately since rereading all the old Timothy Zahn books, and though I don’t have many quotes on him, I’d like to make a small tribute to yet another excellent character by Timothy Zahn. Karrde and I are both obsessed with information, so I feel we have something of a common ground.
“You can’t even call your wife on the comlink without Talon Karrde hearing about it.”
- Han Solo
“I think it’s occasionally good for us to remember that being a smuggler doesn’t necessarily require one to be a barbarian, too.”
- Talon Karrde, “Heir to the Empire”
“One can never have too much good wine, beautiful women, or too much attention.”
- Talon Karrde
“I just hope I’m around to see the day the New Republic catches up with you. Whether they give you a medal or just shoot you - either way, it’ll be a terrific show.”
- Mazzic to Karrde, “The Last Command” (I think)

Have you got a source for that “without Talon Karrde hearing about it” quote? I can’t find it in any of the Zahn novels, or even in the Unity comic, where it would’ve made sense in context.

I haven’t got a source on the quote, which bothers me as I like to cite to the page. I saw it once on Wookiepedia and thought it was a great one-line definition of Karrde.
I was wondering if it perhaps would have been from the NJO books? I haven’t read them yet.
