Speaking of ridiculously expensive stuff, here’s something that arrived via “cool” courier last month. (A visit from the refridgerated courier truck is almost always cause for celebration here.) Compared to the fruit I recently posted, this isn’t bad: at the current exchange rate, the quart of ice cream only ran about US$80.
Admittedly, it was Godiva ice cream, and it was amazing, and possibly worth $80. That said, I honestly can’t imagine going to the store and convincing myself to drop $80 on a quart of ice cream.
